Re: Side, Antalya
Turks are indeed more civilised than most Arab countries, largely because of the efforts of Ataturk in secularising the country, Erdogan seems to want to go back to the dark days of the Ottomans

Re: Side, Antalya
Turks are miles more advanced than Arabs and only someone who knew nothing about either Turkey or Arabia would say otherwise. Mind they are going backward under that cunt Erdogan.

Re: Side, Antalya
Antalya is on par with Marrakesh, Sharm, and Hammamet. Full of stinking filthy Arabs, hassling you. Best avoid that whole area (Continent).

Been to Side a few times now, last time was 3 years ago and going again in July same apartments etc. Weather alway good and will be boiling in August. The old town is great but busy at times and loads of places to eat, food is good and very reasonably priced. You’ll probably still get the blokes out front getting you to go in their restaurant but that’s most places abroad anyway. The market is on a couple of times a week loads of snide gear, watches, football shirts designer labels etc some better than others, they prefer euros or pounds as apposed to lira.

I'm actually surprised there is still anything left for Gavros to Google as he is incapable of typing an original thought.

Re: Side, Antalya
Side has a great beach on the western side. Was there in June last year and it was clear as you like and warm.

The town itself is fairly small and you'll probably get bored after a couple of days. Plenty of stuff to see around. Aspensos is a restored Greek theatre where they still do performances. A bit further West still is Perga, which is the most complete Greek city I've seen.

Antalya is also good for a wander about. The boat trips from there are good fun.

Re: Side, Antalya
Side is OK but didn't like Antalya. The Turkish men will leer at your gf even if she's pig ugly. Also a lot of military presence. Well was when I was there. Should ave gone t Bodrum.
